ThinkStorm ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your data. This policy outlines how we handle user data when you use our app.

1. What Data We Collect

We do not collect personal information from users directly. The only data involved in processing your requests is:

• Transcribed text: Your spoken input is converted to text on your device using your operating system's built-in speech-to-text functionality.
• App usage info: Anonymous analytics may be collected by the app store or operating system but not by ThinkStorm itself.

2. How We Use Your Data

The transcribed text is securely sent to our backend, hosted on Google Cloud Run. Even the developers have no way of reading your conversations or the responses you receive.

We use the OpenAI API to generate a relevant text response.

The response is returned to your device and spoken aloud — it is not stored on our servers.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication (Google): Used to manage user sign-in.
• OpenAI API: Processes the text to generate smart responses.
• Speech-to-text: Performed locally on your device using built-in OS services.

These services may process data as required for their core functionality. We do not share your data with any other parties.

4. Data Storage and Retention

• ThinkStorm does not store your voice recordings or transcribed input on our servers.
• Saved responses are only stored locally on your device unless you use our sync feature. All synced data is stored in an encrypted way.
• OpenAI may temporarily log inputs for abuse monitoring. See OpenAI's API privacy policy for details.

5. Security

All data transmissions are encrypted. We use secure cloud infrastructure to process your requests.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• You can delete your saved notes from the app at any time.
• You may sign out of your account anytime and delete your account.
